About Fantasyunion Windows & Siding and How Referrals Work

Who We Are
Fantasyunion Windows & Siding is a referral service. We help homeowners in San Diego and the San Diego area find independent local providers for window replacement and siding installation. We are not a contractor. We do not send crews. We make the first step easier.
Why We Exist
Say you have lived in your house for years. One day you notice a window that will not stay shut, or siding that looks tired. You have never hired anyone for this. Where do you even begin?
That is the gap we fill. We explain the process in plain words. Then we point you toward providers who can answer your questions. Start with the glass. Then talk about the walls.
How Providers Are Matched
You tell us what you need. Is it new windows, new siding, or both? We then connect you with a provider in our network who works in your area. The provider contacts you, or you speak with one by phone.
Providers in our network focus on window replacement and siding installation. Most window projects involve two or more windows. Simple one-off repairs are usually outside what this network handles.
What We Expect From Providers
We ask providers to be clear and polite. We also ask them to:
- Explain the work in plain language.
- Give a written quote before work starts.
- Be honest about timing and what they can take on.
- Respect your home and your questions.
Providers are independent businesses. Each one sets its own prices, schedule and terms. Always confirm licensing and insurance directly with the provider.
What We Do Not Do
We do not measure, install, remove or repair anything. We do not set prices. We do not promise a result on your insurance claim. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.
We also do not pressure you. Questions before quotes is the idea. Take your time.
How We Are Paid
Providers in our network may pay Fantasyunion Windows & Siding when we refer a homeowner who is a good fit. You pay us nothing to ask for a referral. What you pay a provider for the work is between you and that provider, and it should be spelled out in a written quote.
After the Work Is Done
Fix it, then protect it. Once new windows or siding are in, a little upkeep goes a long way. Wipe tracks, check seals, rinse siding after dusty or smoky weeks, and look over caulk lines once a year. A provider can tell you what suits your materials.
